Mitosis Mutation Mixes: Vampire Toxic and How to Read a Mix

Learn Vampire Toxic's ingredients and how to read a mixed ball's VALUE, TRAITS, PAYS and 1/N, with an eight-mutation example.

Vampire Toxic pairs the Toxic value mutation with the Vampire trait. The game has 28 different mutations to find and fuse into mixes. Open MUTATIONS to check your collection, inspect YOUR BEST BALL for your best ball's recorded composition, or hover over a playfield ball for its own details. Below are Vampire Toxic's ingredients and a guide to reading a mixed ball's components and displayed payout, with an eight-mutation example.

Vampire Toxic's ingredients

Mitosis tracks 28 different mutations, and fusing them is what creates mixes. Vampire Toxic = the Toxic value mutation + the Vampire trait. This combination shows the two categories a mix can draw from — value mutations and traits — and a fused ball can carry both at once. To identify the components of a ball you already have, read its VALUE and TRAITS fields using the steps below.

How to read a fused ball's mix in-game

Three places tell you what's inside a ball:

  1. MUTATIONS — open it to check your mutation collection.
  2. YOUR BEST BALL — inspect it for your best ball's recorded composition.
  3. Hover the playfield — hover over any ball to read that ball's own details.

The details panel breaks a ball down into four fields:

FieldWhat it tells you
VALUEThe ball's value mutations
TRAITSThe traits attached to it — a ball can carry both categories at once, with multiple entries in each
PAYSThe whole ball's displayed payout multiplier
1/NA probability-style label, separate from the cash payout, the VALUE multipliers and the leaderboard score

One caution on 1/N: event bonuses can affect the conditions under which these labels appear, so a 1/N you see during an event should not be treated as the ball's unboosted base chance.

A real fused ball, read field by field

The YOUR BEST BALL preview shows a real eight-mutation ball, and its panel shows how much a single mix can hold. The VALUE field lists Yin-Yang ×16, Galaxy ×12 and Frozen ×3 — Yin-Yang carries the highest multiplier of those three entries, then Galaxy, then Frozen — while the TRAITS include JACKPOT! and WHITE CELL.

Two lessons from this one recorded ball (it's an example, not a formula every mix follows):

  • A mix can span both categories at once, stacking multiple value mutations and multiple traits on a single ball.
  • Trust PAYS over mental math. This ball's whole-ball PAYS reads ×85.25, and multiplying its three VALUE numbers together does not reproduce that figure. When you're judging what a fused ball actually pays, check PAYS.

Where rare mixes come from

Wheel spins can land rare mutation mixes (or event boosts), and mixes and cards are what let players climb the leaderboards and show off the rarest cells. Working Mitosis codes hand out free spins and extra cash — an easy way to roll the wheel more often while you chase mixes. If you're still filling out the 28-mutation collection, the how to get mutations guide covers the finding side, with background on the mutations themselves in the Mitosis mutations overview.
