Mitosis Gold Rush: Spot the Event and Double Your Sale Cash

Gold Rush is the strongest sale boost in Mitosis: while its countdown is active, every cell sale pays 2x Cash. The whole strategy is timing — hold the cells you split, then sell inside the window instead of before it.

What Gold Rush does

Gold Rush is one of Mitosis's timed sale-boost events. While it runs, sales earn a 2x multiplier — the larger individual sale bonus among the sale-boost events. Rainbow, the other sale-boost event, pays 1.5x while active, so if you're timing a sale around one of the two, the Gold Rush window pays more per sale.

The boost covers sales only. Gold Rush has no mutation multiplier and no rare-mutation multiplier, so it changes what your cells earn, not what your splits discover.

How to recognize Gold Rush

Use the event directory: it shows each event's bonuses and identifies which event is currently running, so you can confirm whether Gold Rush is active. If Gold Rush is the current event, its 2x sale bonus applies to any sale you complete while it's active.

Earn more Cash: build, wait, sell

1. Build a batch of cells. Keep splitting and hold your stock rather than selling continuously. If you need the selling basics, see how to sell cells.
2. Check the event directory to confirm Gold Rush is still running.
3. Complete the sale before the countdown expires. A sale that lands inside the boosted window earns 2x Cash; the same batch sold outside it earns the normal amount.

Because the 2x multiplier applies to the whole sale, the more cells you convert during the window, the more bonus Cash you collect.

Where to get a Gold Rush

• Level 7 Level Rewards list a Gold Rush with double sale earnings for two minutes. Click the XP area at the bottom of the screen to open Level Rewards, find the level 7 entry, and once you're eligible use CLAIM or CLAIM ALL — then check the entry's claimed status.
• Promo codes can also grant a Gold Rush; the current working codes are kept on our Mitosis codes page.

Gold Rush is one of several timed events in the game — for how the others compare, see the Mitosis events overview.
